Company visit: ENEDIS (29)

The next IGR Alumni Finistère meeting will be held on Thursday November 30 at 6:15 pm sharp at ENEDIS 195 rue Ernestine de Trémaudan in Brest.

We will be welcomed by Marie-Cécile Penvern, IGR graduate and Head of Communications and CSR.

Turning on the light at home, plugging in our appliances: these are everyday actions we couldn't do without. Yet, a few decades ago, this was a luxury, even a utopia. And today, we don't really know how the "juice" is delivered, and it's hard to keep track of EDF, ENGIE, ENEDIS, ENERCOOP... and soon TOTAL.

That's why the aim of this meeting is to present the missions of Enedis (formerly ERDF) and the electricity market, and to discuss the electricity networks of tomorrow, particularly with the development of renewable energies. We'll also be visiting our network control agency, to find out how electricity flows.

We look forward to seeing you in good numbers (and on time!) for this unique visit, which will show you the way to light... A drink will be served during the event.

For those who wish, we can continue the discussion over a meal afterwards (Del Arte in Kergaradec?).
