IGR Alumni launches a new job-seeking support program : Alumni Insertion.

The workshop cycle is open to graduates (young and old) looking for a job and continuing education students looking to retrain.

1/ October: CVs, cover letters, social networking profiles, mistakes to avoid

- A necessary prerequisite: "being clear" about my professional project
- What makes a good CV? Examples and counter-examples,
- CV : Codes to respect, creativity possible,
- Covering letter, formulas to avoid and golden rules,
- Social networking profiles, basic rules for an effective digital presence.

After that, the dates are not yet definitive, but you'll need to register each time.

2/ December: The fundamentals of a successful recruitment interview (Thursday 05/12)

- The interview starts before the interview!
- The opening and the flow (what you want to say, what you can say, what you want to know)
- Managing time, yourself and your interviewer,
- Concluding and following up the interview.

3/ January: "Tips and tricks" to develop a "Pro" attitude in my job search (scheduled dates: Tuesday 07/01 or Thursday 09/01)

- An active approach: my "personal" routine, unsolicited applications and direct canvassing,
- At a job fair: what attitude, what approach?
- Networking and informal encounters: prepare a "trailer" (or "pitch"), know how to express it and modulate it according to the audience.

Each workshop lasts from 1h30 to 2h00 with a limited number of places (15 maximum).
